Common Scenarios

Low Voltage Scenario
You notice your fan speed is reducing and lights are flickering in the house and suspect LOW CURRENT (which is actually Low Voltage but Nigerians got used to the former). What do you do?
Try this:
Click the button below to simulate low voltage, then use meter codes 078, 079, or 080 and press SEND to check voltage levels.
Check Remaining Credit Before Holiday
You need to know how much electricity credit you have left before traveling for the holidays. You've had some or all appliances running for a while and want to see how much credit remains.
Try this:
First, turn on some or all appliances in the Load Simulator tab. Then click the button below to simulate running those loads for several hours. Finally, use code 009 and press SEND to check your remaining balance.
High Power Consumption - Pump Security Check
You live in an area where thieves steal a lot of things. Your compound uses a borehole and the water pump is on your meter. The pump has been stolen before. You've always used the kW checking code to know that all your daily load is a steady 0.46kW (refrigerator, TV, fan, LED bulbs, laptop), but when the pump is on, it shoots up to 2.1kW.
Step 1: Click "Setup Pump Scenario" below
Step 2: Go to Load Simulator tab and turn ON the required appliances (see reminder there)
Step 3: Come back here and click "Check Pump Status"
Step 4: Use meter codes (081, 082, or 083) to check if your pump is working or stolen
